been long since i last posted.
outings here and there.
scamp prep camp; sow pre-prep 2; scamp actual camp.
scamp '10 was a blast!
Inagawa won the best cheering house, as well as the best house! =D
Even though shuriken didnt win anything, we're proud to be in the house of RED!
hope SOW will be a even more successful one! =D
anyway, today went to my 2nd uncle's funeral (dad's 2nd bro).
ever since i was aware of my surrrounding, this can be considered as the first time that i've attending the wake, including all the chanting and stuff.
for many of the instances i felt like crying.
it was so heart-breaking to see ur loved one gone and the thought of never being able to see him/her again just makes me want to cry.
though i may not be close to them, yet i can still feel the pain.
i do wonder, what will happen if it is me?
but i never had the courage to continue thinking b'cus i really hope it wont happen to me.
well, it seems pointless to think of such stuff doesnt it?
what will happen will happen.
and it was the last goodbye that is the hardest and seems to be the most painful of all.
well, been pretty lazy to blog actually.
but i'll drop by once in a while.

It's June soon!
It was really beautiful.
yup yup as i promised, pre-prep camp.
the camp lasted for 3 days --- 17th to 19th may.
17th: StationGames + Videos.
18th: Wet&Dirty + AmazingRaceGames + Videos.
19th: BeachGames + Videos.
Yup it was fun =D
eventhough the video taking was tiring, eventhough the games were played over and over again,
we had the grand cutting of the epic rainbow cake, the distribution of customized cookies, the running in the rain and getting soaked to the skin. =D
Especially when everyone went 'woahhhhhh' when the cake was cut and everyone liked their cookies('cos i was worried about the taste) and running in the rain was damn shiok!
I was very happy. =) 'Cos i made them happy =)
Probably no words could decribe.
Anyway, there's going to be a 2nd pre-prep on the 17th -18th to finish anything undone.
THEN.
i ended the flyer distribution work! And got paid on the spot on the last day of my work! =D
Though it's not alot, but it's the first pay of the holidays.
It would be so much better if i got more pay..... anyway it's over!
AND.
i started my cashier cum packer job at JohnLittleMegaExpoSales since yesterday.
Well, was glad that i am the packer and not cashier.
And for the rest of the working days, i shall just quietly be packer. =) hehex.
On a side note, travelling to expo is no joke. haha.
It's about the same travelling time when i go to school.
Since i start work at 9am, had to wake up at ard 645am and leave house by 730am latest.
AND I ALWAYS DREAD WAKING UP SO EARLY.
Plus the pay isnt that fantastic anyway. REALLY.
OOOH. I've got dental appointment on the 4th of June but it clashes with the work.
I e-mailed the person who interviewed me but she didnt reply! what should i do?
Go to work and i'll have to wait until september then i can take my braces off (WHICH I DONT WANT) or to skip work and go take my braces off? haha.
If i choose the latter, means i'll get lesser pay (means i earn 48 bucks less for the whole assignment! haha).
anyway i'm soooooo tired. haha.

我累了。
我累了。真的。
For the past 2 days, been giving out sunsilk postcards(flyers).
If it wasnt for the pay, i wouldnt have accepted the job.
Everytime i give out one, i have to smile once.
It's rather heartwarming when others smile back.
But when people just walked past u like u're non-existant, the feeling sucks.
Well, i understand people have bad moods.
But some people are just too arrogant.
whatever.
Know what, before me, there's actually 2 other girls who had taken up this position, but they quit.
For working just one day, which is like only 5 hrs a day, i knew the reason why they quit.
There's just so many reasons to quit, and only one to stay!
Allow me to list it out.
1st: Scorching Sun is pretty unbearable.
2nd: Rude people are everywhere.
3rd: The air there is simply full of smoke.
4th: The flyer person is outside the glass house (glass house got aircon), and the rest inside are basically slacking. And the fact that eventhough they're slacking, they get the same amount of pay as you do.
5th: There's a minimum number of 'customers' needed everyday and boss will not be happy if it's lesser. (This i can understand but sometimes it's just not within our control, because nobody wants to come in!)
6th: Have to stand throughout!
And the only reason to work is because it's 8 bucks per hour.
Well, whatever la. i just hope the next 4 days pass real real fast.
i think office jobs suits me more.

one word - FUN.
yes yes. it's been quite long since i blogged.
many many happy things happened.
well, i shall start from where i stopped the last post.. about the last paper.
ok, the last paper for year 1 sem 2 was disasterous.
in other words, it was almost blank.
yes i know i'm to be blamed for not making real good use of the week that i had before the paper.
no use saying that the paper was too difficult, or even saying that i'm just stupid.
i know i have to be responsible for whatever result i'm going to get for that paper.
nonetheless, i'm hoping and praying hard that it wouldnt be THAT bad.
ok after exams was pure FUN.
4th may- met up with Joc and Zoey.
yup exams are over, time to meet friends up and have a good nice chat.
Chen and Yushan both overseas for their OCIP.
had dinner at.. i forgot. haha erm cos we didnt take any pictures. haha.
anyway, just another short and nice meet-up =D
5th may - Shopping with Sifan.
Yes went out because we were both too bored at home.
wanted to shop ard for swim suit but ended up buying shirts and more shirtS?
haha.
went 'the hand burger' for lunch and yup was just fun walking around though it was tiring.
6th may - Swimming with Sifan.
yup u didnt see wrongly. yes swim.
it's been ages since i last swam, and yep i forgot how already.
i only knew free-style, and was trying to learn frog style.
kept sinking, dun know why.
haha, went Yishun Swimming Complex, and luckily there wasnt much people since it's a weekday.
haha. i need to learn how to swim frog style!
10th may - Minds' Cafe with Lola.
Initial plan was to go hangout to play wii.
But the organiser didnt realise they are closed on monday, so ended up at minds' playing boardgames.
After that was another round of voting and decision making before we settled on going katong shopping centre's teo heng for a singing session.
Cab-ed from dhoby ghaut there and ate chicken rice there. Not bad.
And then sang from 8 to 11 =D
First time going singing with them. it was great. though almost half of the group didnt sing. (As u see there are ard 11 of us who went but only like 5-6 are singing, including me. haha)
Yup that's all for the day. no pictures also. haha.
11th may to 13th may - Seniors' Gathering @ the Chevrons.
It was seniors' gathering for both SCamp and SOW's seniors.
Actually it was a one day thing but because i'm in SOW Comm, had to be there early to prepare.
anyway, haha i reached there around 10pm on the 11th even though i was supposed to be there at 2pm.
Oh before that, went for the John Little Temp Cashier interview at marina square @ ard 1130.
Probably got the job and starting on the 28th.
Back to the gathering, yup so reached and CJ suggested going ktv there.
Sang for another 2 hours, this time with different people.
haha, yes the feeling was different. =)
It was good though, everyone had such nice voices. =D
Then the day (11th) ended with 5 people(including me) squeezing on a queen sized bed (without the mattress) and the rest squeezing anywhere they could at the chalet. haha.
The next morning woke up and started preparing for the games and stuff for the seniors coming.
Briefing and setting up games station before heading for lunch @ Jurong East (one of the coffee shops).
When we were back at the chalet, some seniors reached and we helped to organise them, putting their bags in the chalet, introducing Comm members for SCamp & SOW, then time to play games.
I'm in charged of "Human Chair" and yup it was one of the tiring games. haha.
guessed everyone had fun! and time to clean up abit, and get ready for BBQ.
The night ended with the revealation of the house names for SOW and SCamp.
then it was packing up for us(Comm members) and went inside chalet.
Eventhough we're all ready to sleep, we didnt!
The guys were telling ghost stories, and yes it was sort of creepy.
haha. slept ard 4? haha forgot time already, and then woke up ard 9.
Packed and we checked out of the chalet.
Headed to IMM's pepperlunch for lunch and headed home =D
13th may - Shopping for Joc's present.
Yup 13th not ended yet. reached home around 2 pm, thanks to bryan for sending me home.
Changed and left hse to meet Zoey and Chen to buy Joc's bday present.
yup it's belated we know. Sorry JOC! haha.
anyway, walked from far east to taka and back again.
Finally decided on a casio watch. =D
yup tiring day.
14th may - Baking @ Bryan's hse.
Yup yup. BAKING!
Cookies + Epic Rainbow Cake.
It's totally awesome! =D
Even though it was tiring, it was seriously worth the effort and time, especially the moment where u cut the cake.
Plus everyone was like 'WOW'.
Yeap try it if u have the time and patient to bake for your loved one.
it will surely touched them.
After the cake, customized cookies for SOW Comm members.
Each and every cookie represents them. haha. =D
It was truly a tiring yet FUN day. =)

15th may - Celebrating Joc's Bday (Belated though. Sorry JOC!)
Met Joc earlier to have lunch.
She waited for me @ khatib station, after her driving theory lesson.
Headed to Stadium Station. Reached there around 2:30pm and we started cam-whoring till 3 pm before heading to food court to eat our lunch. haha.
it was fun! =D
then Zoey & Yushan came ard 4 and off we go to kallang ice world for 2 hours of skating.
yup was really fun! yes no doubt. but then, if it wasnt for my blister, i could have enjoyed it much more.
nonetheless, still had fun.
Yushan was so nervous until she kept perspiring, even when it's so freaking cold inside.
haha, then headed to Changi Airport Terminal 3 to eat.
The Pasta Shop by Sakae.
After dinner gave Joc her present and really happy that she loved the watch.
haha. Then, wanted to go viewing mall see aeroplanes but totally cant see any.
So headed home, and reached home about 11 plus.
16th may - Stay-home Sunday.
Finally had a day's rest after exams, not going out.
Ohh not exactly didnt go out la. i went to cut hair, somewhere near POSB @ Khatib Central there. haha.
Yup it is shorter now.
Slacked for the whole day before packing my bag for the SOW pre-prep camp.
OMG this post super long. haha.

一时的感触...
well, ok i shouldnt be blogging. but a few minutes here doesnt make any difference? haha.
i'm actually researching on my Introduction to Nanoworld module (GEK1509) term paper.
topics are carbon nanotubes plus x-ray absorption spectrocopy.
seriously wasnt expecting myself to take a physics module, much less something that i dont really understand.
but it's amazing how these carbon nanotubes could actually be used for in our daily lives, and the fact that it brings more convenience and better improves our quality of life.
anyway, luckily my teammates are from chemistry majors. that really helped! haha.
ok, that aside, just had a games tryout for sow yesterday. well, alright i guess.
attendance wasnt good. but was more efficient compared to the last tryout though.
probably because we had less people ba.
somehow i feel that the comm doesnt seem to be that bonded yet.
my personal feeling though.
the comm seems divided with their own cliques.
hope i wouldnt regret joining the comm, but then again, it's too late 'cause i've already joined.
haha.
hmm, i'm lost for words. perhaps i dont know them well enough. perhaps i'm just a weird person.
whatever it is, this is taking me nowhere.
really hoping that everything will just turns out great and we'll all have good & fun memories of being in the comm.
tests are coming up, and exams are coming in less than a month.
Tons of revision to do and what-nots.
i seriously wonder how i've actually spent a year in university with my so-not-smart-brain-compared-to-others.
plus, competition can be felt everyday.
probably i'm just too sensitive or what, but the fact that everyone is striving for good results is making me tired.
probably i'm too lazy compared to others, and always finding the easy way out, yet still want to have excellent results.
i'm not sure... the feeling of doubt or fear never leaves me.
ok i'm getting a lil' over pessimistic.
alright enough of these.
got to get back to writing the term paper and let sis use the com.

well, almost half done on my part. and i need to finish it by tonight and fast because i still have to do tutorials plus study for the quiz on monday.
been pretty slack for me because been feeling tired always and not studying much.
seriously i need to study and do revision.
i need to pull up my cap.
