updates + things to do...

Last sunday night, went over to JB for dinner!
This is like the 1ST time we travelled out of Singapore as a family.
Even though it's just across the causeway IKR!
Went 大马花园 and bro ordered about 6 dishes.
Butter crayfish, Salted egg crayfish, Cereal Crayfish, Herbal chicken, Sambal Kangkong & Teochew steam fish (jin mu lu).
Had 1 big glass of sugarcane each too!
It was a total feast on CRAYFISH. haha 3 big plates of them. should have taken photos of it. next time!
Yup and came home with stomaches all satisfied.
Hope we'll have more of such trips!

It's recess week now for me.
Supposed to be doing work, studying, look for jobs plus research on my taiwan trip!~
Sounds like a one whole list of stuff to do!
Too much to do till i dont know where to start!

Went to watch Chingay last friday with mummy, 'cus sis has got 2 free tickets.
It's first row seats! haha good view of the performance and fireworks! =)  Pretty!
Anyway bro drove us there so we were super early.
Since we're early, we went looking for toilets!
As expected, there were only mobile toilets for public to use.
and guess what? the toilets cant be flushed -.-
And 'cus no choice, had to use it too. but surprisingly it didnt smell as bad though. ha.
then we went in early to sit and apparently we were too early 'cus there isnt many people yet.
Free drinks were given out, including beer!
And finally the performace start, punctually at 8.30pm!
Actually i'm kinda lazy to describe the performance ha so i shall skip. =P

ytd, went out with sister, my ah yee and cousin. supposedly to have more ppl but end up the 4 of us.
went vivo's dian xiao er's for late lunch and the food's not bad.
yup and went walking around vivocity after that.
then, went over to ShiHui's place around evening time.
ha so paiseh i'm the last to arrive =P
anyway, had steamboat for dinner, then played blackjack.

i lost 30cents hahahahaha. 小赌怡情！
yup then lo hei before heading home! =)

I'm going to sleep le.

updates.

Finally got my new phone bb bold 9790 three weeks ago!
Still getting used to the new phone since bb has never been my consideration when it comes to buying phones.
Perhaps the push factors that made me buy bb are that it's cheaper than iphone, and partly being phycho-ed into buying. =X
Well, but i guess i wont fall in love with that phone as yet, not as much as when i first wanted an iphone for myself. =P

Today's considered the 9th day of the lunar new year, since it has already passed midnight!
No schools on mondays are GREAT! hahaha.
Had a long weekend (since friday because no lessons due to CNY) and quite eventful i would say.

Ok i should start from 2 days before CNY. That night.... went to K's to play mahjong overnight, with K's friend thomas and mine YS!
YS ended being the biggest winner and K lost the most. Played till ard 7am!
Then CNY eve was spent helping mummy with preparation of food for the steamboat after a short sleep in the morning!
We ate early this year because bro was hungry. yup so it's like reunion lunch/tea-break. After eating we wanted to go down to Chinatown but it was raining on and off so decided to stay home and we played... MAHJONG!

Of course not with these super pretty cute MAX hello kitty mahjong tiles! just the normal ones.
Haha this time i won! we played till about 3am in the morning hahaha. Oh well this only happens during CNY.
Bai Nian this year is kinda more comfortable in the sense that my bro bought a second-hand car so we didnt have to take public transports and walk long distances with our pretty heels!
and as usual, dinner was at my xiao jiu's place!
2nd day of CNY is more visiting. Then at night we went to the marina bay floating platform (he pan) there to feel the CNY mood.
3rd and 4th are spent in sch, because lessons resumed!

Friday marks the start of my long weekend.
Met up with K after his lessons and we went over to Punggol Waterway.

Before that we had a stop over at Harbourfront for late lunch and dinner shopping.
Having sushi in our hands as dinner, we walked quite a bit of distance before reaching the place, when in fact it's quite near the punggol station.
Throughout the whole stretch, only about half is nicely done up and the other is still under construction. Plus, there are also constructions around the waterway for new flats coming up.
It'll probably be a great place during weekends for families and friends to hangout, have a picnic and fly kites... in the future when there is no more constructions around the area!
And on our way back, we walked one big round as well because we wasnt sure of the way back to the station. So we had our 'big walk' that day ha!

Saturday's mummy's birthday. Spent the day home, but dinner out @ amk.
nothing special but it really feels good to have the whole family eating dinner together.
usually it only happens on special days like CNY eve or birthdays.

Yesterday, K came to my place for the very first time. awkward MAX. haha
Shall not elaborate more, but i'm really happy about it. hehehe.

yup and that's all till now this moment which i am about to finish writing this entry.
Been awhile since my post is such a lengthy one.

ok this doesnt seem to be a good start to the first post of the year...

Anyway, it's a new year!
Finally, i'm done with work as a promoter, and cant wait to see the 'fruits' of my hard work - $$$!
Ha i admit i didnt really worked very hard but considering the fact that i've stand for 100 over hrs for the month of december to promote the phones, it's still hard earned money!
Schools starting soon. Mixed feelings i would say.
Studying gives me a sense of goal, at least i have something to do.
But whenever it gets too tough and i'm lost, the feeling sucks, because i feel so seriously useless.
Wonder if anyone feels the same as me... hmm.
(as i'm typing i'm constantly looking out of my room in case the cocroach comes running into my room)

New year, new resolutions.
Peace, health, love, wealth - let them all be with my family, friends, loved ones and me.
that pretty sums up everything!
Oh not forgetting since i'll be graduating soon, hope my job search goes smoothly and ends up in a great job! =D
