2 less (wisdom) tooth~

Had my left side wisdom tooth extraction on tues!
I had a total of 4 wisdom tooth, but only took out 2...
So 1 was the normal extraction, the other was an impacted tooth which requires surgery.
Well the word surgery was rather nerve-wrecking..
Yea I know many people go for wisdom tooth surgery everyday.. but the thought of it just scares me, especially when there are drilling of the tooth involved! Yes drilling of your tooth, sounds scary right!!!!

Anyway on that day, had to go NDC alone because nobody's free to accompany me.
I'm going surgery and nobody to accompany me!!!!!
Ok, though it was only a small one. BUT STILL... first time ma.. >.<
But actually I admit I was overly worried about this whole thing after I went for it la.. BUT STILL..the feeling of uncertainty... haiz..
But then again, was comforting myself before going in to that room, that after I'm done, my bf's waiting for me outside. Well, that helped. At least I know I'm not alone, and someone's there for me when I needed it.
So yep my name was called, and the surgeon in charge of my surgery explained to me the risk involved and made me sign on the paper saying that we have discussed the risks and i accepted it. They were pretty cautious as I was asked to confirm my name and IC for quite a number of times and to make sure I know why I was there.
So then I was instructed to go into this spacious room with the dental chair in the middle. (I wondered why the room has to be so big and spacious.. maybe so that patients would feel more comfortable?)
As I sat there, I was given the anethesia (local), and then the dental assistant cleaned my mouth area before covering me with some sort of green blanket (?) and wrapped my head and covered my eyes!
Nervousness increased!
But luckily the surgeon was quite encouraging and was constantly telling me what's coming into my mouth, which I find quite reassuring, and it wasnt painful when she was doing it..
But when she said that i'll be hearing cracking sounds, I was quite scared that instead of the tooth that's cracking, I was more worried about my jaw bone, because the pressure was quite high when she tried to crack my impacted tooth.
And the smell when she was doing the drilling, somehow it smelled quite fishy? and like metal smell... I thought it smell abit like those construction... hmm..
Then the extraction of the top wisdom tooth was an extremely fast one. One moment she said she's moving on to the top tooth, and the next, she said she's done!
Anyway, was quite glad that I wasn't bleeding profusely after the 'surgery'. And so, took train home (with my bf of course..was so glad to see him!) instead of cabbing!

As I had my extraction about 4pm i think (waited very long outside the room), didn't had anything else except milk that night..
The next day, I didn't eat anything, only drank milk, and orange juice and milk for the whole day..
Then the following day, I started eating beancurd, bread with milo, and dinner was rice (due to my mum constant nagging that I should eat something that's filling at least)!!! My intestines were also protesting my liquid diet 'cus they were making noises the whole morning! So I succumbed to hunger and ate the rice for dinner. I had been eating solid food already.. though it was at a slower speed and worried that anything would get stuck at the hole.
So that pretty sums up my wisdom tooth extraction.
5 days of MC and i'll probably get serious monday blues when i go back office on monday >.<
It's so nice to 睡到自然醒!
And have to go back for root canal treatment another day =( hope the root canal will be ok too..
Oh I wanted to take a photo of my extracted tooth, but then it was quite weird, and doesn't look good in whichever angle I tried, so in the end I threw it away without taking any pictures of  it ha.. so there isn't any photos to show!

Ok getting late...
Shall stop here today..
Goodnight!
