Time flies!

haha, after spending my birthday at home doing nothing constructive...
asked Chen they all out on thurs.
Went bugis, ate lunch and it's already like 3 plus going 4.
Then we headed to Haji Lane.
I bought a top at 20 bucks & YS bought one at 10 bucks.
Joc & Chen didnt buy anything...
Yup so ard 6, Joc & YS had to leave, so me & Chen went Illuma to walk walk.
Then, we walked passed a korean restaurant, Chang, & was psycho-ed to eat.
Haha... yup so we ate..

I ate Seafood Ramen while Chen ate Kimchi Ramen.
Plus we ordered the rice cake to share, and we didnt realise that it comes with noodles until it's served.
So we ate till quite full and 10 bucks plus plus. Forgot already.. haha..
Then went bugis street, but didnt buy anything...

Fri early in the morning went NUS for the freshmen welcome tea.
Well, it's actually talks & more TALKS!
Quite beneficial for the bidding system part.. haha..
and i've yet to decide what modules to take!
After tt headed down to bugis (yup, again) for dinner with Team to celebrate Fer's Bday.
Went Illuma(yup, again!), went The Manhattan Fish Market.
Food was alright ba! haha..
Then headed to esplanade dere to chat and chill.
Haha. And they bought me a small banana chocolate cake.
oh and did i mentioned, we walked there.
haha...
and that's all for the day.

Saturday went down to Comcentre, wanting to buy my iphone 3G S.
BUT! No more stock already, so means wasted trip down.
On my way home, bought lunch for mum & sis, then went to buy ingredients for baking cookies!
Haha, so i spent the whole afternoon baking oatmeal with chocolate chips/raisins cookies.
=D

Sun, went XiaoYee's hse ard noon for some matters, and brought along some of my homemade cookies for her.
haha, then met up with Exodus peeps @ Marina Square for Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince.
Well, only 4 peeps including me(& i'm the only girl) went for the movie.
Movie was well, not as good as previous ones ba.
Perhaps they're trying to squeeze too many things into a 2 a half hr movie.
And everything is like touch-and-go.
Anyway, after movie was like ard 5.
Didnt know what to do so went BK to eat my cookies! haha...

Actually this is for my colleagues de cookies.. the ones i baked on sat didnt take pic. haha..

They say not bad ok... haha...
then went play pool for an hr, but b4 that played car racing and i was 3rd for both race.
Also, too long nv play pool liao, abit sheng xiu... haha...
Then, CH came to join us, so went for dinner at HotPotCulture.
The Ala-carte buffet dinner supposed to cost us 19.80 plus plus...
But when the bill comes it's like 32 per pax!
And the food also average only lor, except the beef slice ba i guess..

Had Medical Check-up early in the morning.

Yes i was late.. haha! but seriously very lazy to wake up early, esp since i slept at like 1 plus am last night lah!

haha, anyway, took height and weight, eye check then blood pressure.

After that urinal test, then chest x-ray.

Followed by physical check which include the doctor pressing ur stomach and listening to you breathing.

And it's done.

It's actually the waiting that's longg!

Then headed to MPSP1 for matriculation.

Queuing alone is boring! Nobody to talk to to kill boredom.

yup, once again the whole registration thingy was fast but the queuing ah... can die!

haha..

then, i got nothing to do so i sat outside MPSP and day-dream!

Then saw Jon & Jos (Exodus peeps).

Jon wanted to collect his laptop that he just bought (for $2448), so followed them since i've got nothing to do.

Then it''s like one hour passed already, so went JP to meet C.

Ate Mac, and shopped around.

Actually didnt really shop except we bought a pair of jeans each from Giodano.

Wanted to buy bags & shoes but, all the bags i like is like 50 plus lah!

Way over my budget. So.. decided to head down to AMK to K-SONG!

haha, coz both of us not familiar with new releases, sang all those old old songs!

Haha, yep $17.50 nett, for students!

yup, reached home ard 11 plus.

Actually the time is till 10pm, but they didnt come and chase us out.

So we sang for another half an hr before they came.

haha!

And i'm sleepy!!!

Going to plan timetables and what modules to take etc...

Clear up my messy table...

& Pack things for O-Camp...

HAHA!
ok i've created a new entry today just so i can hit 200th post on my 19th birthday!
That's lame la i know, but i'm seriously ROTTING at home already!

Since my last day of work...

Saturday was spent slacking at home the whole day.

Sunday managed to go out for a while, dropped by the library and went back home.

Monday went back office to return my card key, and saw my boss(she's back from Japan), and headed to NDC for my dental appointment.
I was expecting my dentist to say that i'm ready to take off my braces but she didnt.
And my next appointment is like 2 months from now!
At this rate, when can i take them off???!!!
Anyway, went home after dental and slack at home for the rest of the day.

Tuesday(Yesterday) was spent rotting at home also.
Seriously didnt know what to do...
Perhaps i'm so used to going work every morning and when i dun need to, it seems like i'm lost.
Anyway, spent my day watching "Attack No. 1".
It's about VOLLEYBALL!
Guess what, it's so touching! Seriously I believe every volleyball player would be able to appreciate and understand the feelings of the players.
You'll truly understand 'team spirit', and the determination, motivation and passion they have for volleyball.
It made me miss playing volleyball with my team.
The times we laugh together, and win together.
Definitely, the times when we teared as a team.
It's the time when u know u're not alone, because everyone supports each other.
Watch it if you have the time!

And today, my birthday, i should have been out there having fun and celebrating...
YET, i'm at home the whole day doing nothing constructive.
But what to do?
Going out on my own, walking aimlessly along the streets & shops, that doesnt sounds good either...
Morning, surprisingly i woke up early (perhaps i was anticipating that anyone would surprise me with anything, but obviously that didnt happen)...
And i watched the solar eclispe... it's a rare chance... but is through the live telecast from China.
And so coincidentally, it falls on my birthday! =D
Oh just now dad came home with my birthday cake.
Haha, at least i get to eat birthday cake lah!
Oh and i can't wait to purchase my iphone 3G S.
I've decided to buy already, hopefully i might get some subsidies! Hehe..
Hope they've restock!
Back to today, i was just looking at the modules that i need to take.
Well, perhaps, i was just thinking, maybe i'll try Quantitative Finance as my major, if my results are good enough.
So, i should start thinking about the modules to take and planning my timetable.
It's really lonely when there's no one to discuss about how to arrange timetable leh.
Hope i can know a few more peeps studying Stats to go lectures together...

So now here i am, blogging about my boring day.
I guess nobody spend their birthday like me huh...

Yesterday's my last day of work.
Been working for 6 and a half months @ the same place.
Can u believe that time passes that fast?
OMG! haha...

Yup, i know i haven been blogging for the past week and a half.. haha..
so here i am!

Hmm, oh ya, last sunday went for Dim Sum Buffet @ Excelsior hotel with Exodus.
Well, not everyone turned up, nonetheless, it was still great!
haha, was supposed to meet @ City Hall @ 11.15am but i was abit late.
Luckily i wasnt the latest! Heehe.. While waiting for the food to come, T started teaching us a game that requires face muscles! haha.. Haha like wedding dinner hor!

After the buffet, I & QX & T left as they had something on.
Actually i wanted to leave as well, because i wanted to try out baking cookies..
But didnt in the end! haha.
Went to watch Ice Age 3 @ Marina Square.
Not bad! Quite funny! Haha. Had quite a good laugh~

Oh and on the way to MS, saw this queue of sports cars again!!! haha...Oh, Z left before we went in for the movie...
After the movie, it's almost time for dinner!
So, V, L & HT left.
Jo came and joined us for dinner...
Went to mac to chit chat & because Jo just changed his phone to the Samsung Jet, we were cam-whoring & trying out the functions!
Haha, the phone damn cool lah!
But i still want my iphone 3G s! White one!
Anyway, YN came and join us since she's knocked off from work @ Taka.
When YN came, CH left.. Haha... oh and Z came back to join us again...
So leaving the 6 of us.
Decided to go the 'food street' (forgot the name. haha..) beside DXO...
Yup, ordered a few dishes and shared the food! Pictures with Jo. haha..
Had another round of chitchat-ing and knowing more about them..

and it's not until 10 plus when we leave the place.
Reached home @ ard 11 plus going 12.
Haha. Had a great day!

Then the following week was my last week of work.
Actually had dental appointment on tues, but changed it to wed because my dentist was on mc...
Then, when i wanted to take leave, WW asked if i could try to change my appointment because Sha is on leave on wed.
So i changed it to next monday... haha...

Wed was my last dance lesson. Haha...

Everyone wanted to psycho me to continue but for the sake of iphone, i'm not.

Hehe.. yup... and the dance moves getting more difficult lor! haha..

Anyway, took leave on thurs for QET...
Sians, because what i studied didnt came out.
The whole paper was about the relationship between media violence & violent crimes, which i had no prior knowledge about. So i was crapping my way through for the essay part! Hope i can pass!
After the test, rushed homwe before heading to my Xiao Jiu's hse with Mummy & Beibei to bake cookies for my colleagues!
Haha, and bought along the printer that we wanted to pass it to them. Damn heavy lah!
Anyway, he lives in Jurong so by the time we reach the place it was like 430pm already.
Went ShengSiong to buy the necessay ingredients & started on the prep work!
The first batch failed (but still can eat) because the instructions said drop a TEAspoon of the dough but i drop a TABLEspoon. haha!
So the cookies got stuck together and crushed when i wanted to take them out from the tray.
Lesson learnt, so the rest was acceptable! haha!
Not bad right!
Had dinner @ his place and it was already 9 plus when i finished baking everything.
Sis came to join us not long after we came since she was in sch the whole day and it's on her way ...
So.. brought the cookies to work yesterday and my colleagues said its quite nice!
haha.. i was still worried they might not like it.
Lunch yesterday was on LL, WW & M.
=D
MH gave me a paper weight while ME gave me a damn cute cup. Haha..
Totally didnt expect it! haha..
Yup so that's my last day of work...
haha perhaps i might miss working there? i dont know.. haha..

I'm back from camp for a week! haha...

Oh wed my OG had gathering @ Minds cafe.
Didnt go because of my dance class.
Abit sad because there's 7 days a week and they purposely choose a day which i'm not free.
SIAN.
NVM.

Anyway, Wed there's a new girl came, and she the one replacing me after i leave.
So i have to teach her everything i do.
haha, and coincidentally she's also a volleyball player and same age as me! Haha.
ok, so now in the process of teaching her.
I'm ShiFu (lol sounds so old) and got TuDi already.
Oh and my ShiFu, who's my boss lah, she's gg JAPAN leh!!!
I also want to go!!!

SCAMP 2009~

FINALLY!
Decided to blog about my SCamp.
haha! =D
So pictures shall do most of the talking for me!

22nd June 09: 1st day of SCamp.
I was late!
I woke up like around 7.15am when I'm supposed to be up at 6am.
It's either my phone alarm spoiled, or my ears are.
Because seriously I didn't even hear the alarm ring, and I woke up only because my mum comes into my room and wakes me up by saying, "I thought you said you want to wake up at 6?"
HaHa!
Right, so after checking my stuff, making sure that I brought everything that's needed, I cabbed down to NUS.
Well, when I 1st board the cab, the uncle was quite nice.
So i was thinking, well, the uncle not bad ah, quite friendly.
Guess what, while he's drving along thomson road there, there's this red cab who wanted to cut lane i think, well actually the uncle also lah...
So they both winded down the window plane and started scolding each other.
From "'ni hui bu hui jia che de?!" to "Curse your whole family die" to all the crude stuff like "KNN & CB"...
I was like damn shocked can! Is like they're gonna stop the car any minute and start fighting!
I was like what if they really start to fight? Den i'm the shou hai zhe! haha...
But luckily they didnt and my trip to NUS was quite smooth except there's traffic jam.
When I reach NUS, my can fare mounted to $24.30. If i didn't remember wrongly...
Damn EX right? haha!
ok, so even though i cabbed down, I was still late because everyone started on the ice-breaking games already.
So they're supposed to introduce themselves to me since I'm like the only one who doesnt know their names, and after the 1st two I was like OMG how come the names so hard to remember!
So after 1 round of intro, i forgot half of their names. haha!
Bad memory!
After ice-breaking games, went back to LT and i forgot what we did. HA! After awhile had lunch, and after lunch is house-time, where we did all the cheers! =D
Well, OHL/AOHL is funny! haha. They so high.
Oh ya! My house is VENTO, and is YELLOW COLOUR!~
I think it symbolises wind, so our house identity is the fan with vento on it.
There's plenty of pictures with it i think! haha! =D So after that is game stations in school.

Oh ya forgot, before we gathered like tt (look at pic below) to have our prata supper i think, had our SP meeting at some place which we don't know, because we're blind-folded. AND I ACTUALLY LOST MY VOICE ON THE 1ST DAY OF SCAMP ALREADY! haha!
Day 1 ended with us all sleeping inside our sleeping bags in the LT! haha! and nice senior T who gave me sweet to help regain my voice. haha! =D

23rd June 2009: 2nd day of SCamp.

Woke up around 8am in the morning, then breakfast, which is bread plus strawberry jam/peanut butter. After which, started on the making of gifts for our SP. Guys were to make roses, girls make paper superheros. haha! It's actually quite hard leh! So we spent our whole morning making the gifts, until about noon where there's this talk by AIA, one of our sponsors for SCamp (if i'm not wrong, haha). Everyone's serious in making the gifts ok! haha!After the talk, had this amazing race around Singapore, where we go to specific place to EAT! haha! Pictures time! This one's at the bus-stop near sch! Our 1st stop is actually Queensway Ikea, meatballs!Funny faces @ Bishan! =P Have to eat chicken rice there. @ Orchard MRT! Taka vegetarian food.After that is Geylang tou huei but not pics yet haha!
Next up is Katong Laksa! Managed to take photos with the lady boss! =DLast stop is actually Tampines but then changed to Bedok. Also no pics as well. haha!
Then, headed to Aloha Changi Chalet! Had dinner, after that each OG went back to their respective rooms, so here we are! We're actually waiting for our turn to play the night activity (SOA), yup so did cheers and played games! YEEHA! haha. and JOE! haha...Yup, it was like 11 plus gg midnight then it's our house, Vento's turn to go play SOA. It's at this sort of abandoned building (there's 3 blocks actually) and we're supposed to roam around the place, only with our torch lights in hands, and look for game stations inside the building. Yup, so no pictures because seniors not with us, and no freshies brought cameras to the camp. haha! Anyway there should be some at the SCamp Comm people since they got the professional cameras. It was around 5 plus in the morning when we finished all the stations! haha. Headed back to chalet, bathe and slept for about less than 2 hours.

24th June 2009: 3rd day of SCamp.
Woke up @ ard 8am and get ready to go back to NUS. Trip back school on the bus was spent on sleeping! haha... Started games again after we reached sch i think... Before long, it's lunch! After lunch, had wet and dirty games around school... our og was like losing every game that we played, and the atmosphere was like damn weird because everyone was like feeling so low.. THEN... we came to this station where we had to wear the trash bag with letters infront and behind, then spell out the answers when the game master posed a question. And we WON! haha.. quite alot leh, 9-3 i think. haha... So we're all happy again! haha.. and after that the games we did won, so it's like a turning point for us. haha! Not many pictures on day 3... haha! Guess we're all too serious in playing!After washing up(just cleaning up the paint on our faces and hands), assembled and had dinner. After dinner, had mass dance! =D Learned all the steps and it's fun dancing with the whole group! haha! Coincidentally, it's the birthday of the girl who taught us the dance, so SCamp Comm surprised her with a birthday cake. Haha, and her BF was asked to kiss her. She's like so nervous her face is all screwed up! haha, she's really cute! haha... Then we moved to one of the residences in NUS and slept there for the night. 3 person to a room and my roommates are CH & YN. And that's the end of 3rd day.

25th June 2009: 4th day of SCamp.

Personally i think 4th day is the most fun! haha. Set off to sentosa early in the morning, and reached there ard 9am. Once we reached, our OHLs were dunked! haha... and not long after taking afew group pictures, started on our games, at the beach. Nothing beats seeing it urselves, so pictures!

After station games, had this war game between the 3 houses (VENTO, Krajor & Amanzia).. Had water bombs where we're supposed to throw into the other 2 houses' territory. It's TIRING, but FUN! haha... Well, eventually Amanzia won the game but we all had fun. I don't have any pictures of the war game with me, so ya, use ur imaginations! haha... Since we're at palawan beach, the winner got to stay at palawan beach there to bathe, which means they dun need to walk very long just to bathe).. And the queue in the toilets were damn long, and guess what? we only have like 1 hour for everyone to bathe and get ready for the bash at night! haha.. So everyone were rushing like mad! haha! So pictures again!

Went DXO near esplanade. Danced & played games till 2am, where it's time to knock off for the staff... Went mac @ boat quay and had supper. Then, stayed at the bridge near Fullerton hotel and played truth or dare till morning! haha. SECRET! =D

26th June 2009: 5th day of SCamp.

Reached back in school @ ard 7 plus. Bathe and someone suggested to go for breakfast. So all the girls (except CH), and some guys, together with T, QX, HT. Girls chatted with T while the guys had HTHT with HT & QX. haha! Chatted till it's time to assemble, and had prize presentation. Our house got the best house identity. =D and the SCamp Comm people cried because the camp was such a success compared to the biz camp & another one in NUS. One got shut down, the other all the campers were quarrantined. Yup, their efforts are appreciated by all of us! Took group pictures etc and then JOE-ed for one last time before having OG lunch at one of the cafe in NUS. Cabbed home with sis after that!
