yo i here to blog about the trip and prom.well, briefly ba. just wanted the photos to do the talking. =D
but anyway, i reckon it's gonna be a super long post!
well, the trip to sarawak was ok ba.
quite bored there.. haha. =P
the whole trip was like 6 days...
1st day, was just spent on travelling.
oh we celebrated mel and jerline's bday at the senai airport... haha...
but! after dinner we went for a friendly match with the Sibu team.
through out the whole trip i didnt actually play. ha...
anyway, we got champion! =D
haha. this post is going to be super long!
i decided to slot in the photos so that the post doesnt look too wordy... hehe...
in the morning, we went to this park, i forgot the park name.... XD 
we're still young at heart!!! haha...
ya, den we got to climb super high up, and we're all sweaty and sticky. 
den we saw the badminton c boys training their stamina, by... climbing those extremely steep stairs!!! (well the stairs there are super steep.) 
haha... just by looking it's tiring already. haha. 
we reach the top! haha... 
den after tt i think we went back hotel leh... should be.
around late afternoon/evening, we are supposed to assemble in the lobby and go to the 'long house'.
the long house is actually the home of many families of the natives in sarawak.
the one that we went has 18 families living together and it's considered modernized cause they have electricity and all.
the traditional ones have about 50 plus families...
yup, so they told us that they were previously head-hunters... haha sounds scary?
yup, den there's one particular owner, he was very 're qin'...
keep offering us the 'mi jiu'(rice wine) that they made themselves(i think)..
and hearing from 'ah mao' (our overall in-charge there and a senior of vb guys team) said that they even sell those jiu.
well, perhaps i wasnt really able the appreciate tt ma, taste ok to me.
haha.
yup, and they served us dinner =D the curry was nice!
oh ya. the journey to the long house was a super long one.
and seriously i'm not kidding!
u know we meet around 5 to set off to the long house and we reached there like around 7/8 plus.
we're actually lost!!!
to be more precise, the bus driver was la. cause he was supposed to be the one staying in sibu and knowing how to go...
yup, so we sat on the bus for like an hour plus plus, stopping and asking the way to long house...
luckily we managed to find our way there.
the 3rd day was spent traveling back and forth from our hotel to the vb court.
and that's about it. haha.
oh ya, Mr tam treated us drinks at the coffeeshop near the vb court.
most of us ordered 'teh-si special' which has the tea, milk and wheat grass juice.
taste quite good. the other one is 'kopi-si special', but it doesnt have the wheat grass juice. i think they put coffee syrup or something. haha. i dunno...

OH ya. the hotel was great! =D i mean it's like quite unexpected lah... haha.
It has great facilities too... and u wouldnt really expect tt kind of hotel in a not very developed place...
well it's not that they are not that developed la. but there's still the 'kampong-ish' feeling ma.. hehe... yup, so, it's a nice place to stay, i mean the hotel. haha...

they are our 'tour guide' for the day. haha, the most left hand side is the coach. the rest are players.. =D

we had to walk in, and there's no proper pathway or lightings.
the way in was like in the middle of a sort of 'highway' where u dont see any houses around.
haha, we all hold hands as we walk and the sibu coach uses his torch/hp light to help us see better. haha. cause me, YL and Mel was walking just behind them.
and u know, the bus doesnt take us there directly.
we had to walk in, and there's no proper pathway or lightings.

den 5th day was the last day of the competition, so, our match is at evening - night.

so me, YL, Mel, & Sut. decided to settle at pizza hut to eat cause their seafood pasta looks nice.
it was okay at 1st.. we placed our orders and were happily waiting for our food...
while waiting, Sut. say Jea. told her go m'sia dun go pizza hut...
after a while, 2 drinks came, followed by one serving of pasta.
so thinking that the rest would come soon, i took the 1st one...
we waited for very long, wondering why the rest have not come...and they were saying tt mine came so fast because they cooked an extra serving, so they gave it to me since i ordered the same pasta...
so since we're actually rushing for time (cause we wont want to be late for the match), we called the waiter that served us...
to our surprise, he told us that we only ordered one set.
ironically, if we really did only ordered one set, where did the other drink come from?
so we are actually quite pissed... and kept saying that the waiter didnt understand what we wanted but keep saying 'yes, yes, yes'.
we even requested to see his manager. haha. and he thought we're joking with him lah!
hai yo, i think if he come singapore sure a lot of complaints from customers everyday de lor!
so, we hurriedly finish our food and called for bill.
we wanted to just pay him RM$40, it was actually RM$41.40...
den that waiter say cannot... but we keep insisting that we should paid 40 bucks for the food...

it was actually quite funny lah, cause i think that guy quite scared we might do something...like not pay up or something.. haha....
but still we ended up paying the full amount lah...
so we came to a conculsion... dont go pizza hut when u're in m'sia...

den, time to go to the court.

and i regretted didnt take with the coach leh. =(
really regret... but nvm still got group photo. =D waiting for the rest to send me. haha...
yup, 6th day, is our day to come back Singapore.
morning we went around the town for some photo taking thingy and bought some cakes/local products... and yup, back to hotel to check out.
den we wanted to buy their big bao back, so we ran to the shop after getting permission...
it's quite near the hotel. haha.
ya, den we set off to the airport to go back to JB.
and u know wat, i didnt check-in. den when the person ask where's my boarding pass i kinda panic...
cause i didnt have any check-in luggage so i thought i wouldnt need to like check-in my luggage.
so ya lor, i rushed down to check in and get my boarding pass.
i really xia dao lor, told myself to be strong, but.. hehe, still teared cause i really scared ma...
thinking back i think i very stupid hor...
hai... luckily i'm in time for the plane. if not... die!

cab home with kaiting and sinyee, and reached home about 10.
