Last Sunday (20 Dec), went falala @ alvin's. It's BBQ-cum-Christmas Party.

But actually i think there's no Christmas mood, just the fact that we bought presents to exchange. Haha.

Yup. The Bayshore.

Nice Condominium, just like a resort. Imagine having classical music in the lift.

So relaxing. Haha.

Was suppose to meet at 5.15pm at the bus stop near alvin's.

But i was super late.

Reached at 5.40pm. Haha.

Felt bad for having everyone waiting for me. =P

Took 853, straight bus there.

Boarded the bus at 4.17pm, thinking that i can reach in 1 hrs time.

But no. haha.

Yup was great seeing them again. =D

I just reach home not long ago.
Went work @ hilton hotel as waitress.
And i swear i won't ever work as a waitress for banquets anymore.
This is my FIRST & my LAST.
damn freaking tiring la!
Lucky i got a nice auntie partner.
She taught me abit, and helped me abit.
Now my left arm is damn sour, muscles aching.
And both my feet like just went through some ordeal.
Tired and pain.
Rather be the guest then the waitress.
Plus our first day new manager came too.
And he's the fierce one.
Heard from others last time the managers all very good, but now this one not good.
HAHA.
First day of his work and nobody liked him.

So usually before the dinner starts, there's the lobby outside the ballroom (vista room) & I had to serve drinks to the guests who arrived.
Didnt know 3 glasses of drinks are so heavy one.
Make my arms so tired.

Oh, and too kan ciong already, forgot to take picture. haha.
And i saw my hip hop dance teacher @ cj there!
OMG so qiao! haha.
and she recognized me too!
Then, i saw NUS Dance Blast instructor there too!
OMG.
LUCKY I'M NOT THE ONE SERVING THEM!
seriously i cant imagine what will happen.

okok. It's getting late.
Time to finish my milo and go to sleep.

完美的定义是什么？
所谓的‘完美世界’又应该是怎样的？
世界平等？
而每个人都曾幻想过自己的完美世界是怎样的，不是吗？

这个世界其实并不完美。。或者说这世界有太多的不完美。。

因为有不完美，才有很多人想要追求完美，在不完美中寻找自己的完美世界。
或许对莫些人来说，‘完美’就跟‘幸福’一样，可以很简单。
而对其他人来说可能是无法到达的山峰，因为自己的世界有太多的不完美。

既然没有人是完美的，就不要要求别人当你心目中那个十全十美的人。
而当别人要你成为一个完美的人时，你是不是该听听自己的心，你快乐吗？
如果是，那最好。
如果不是，那不是很辛苦吗？
人本来就该做自己，不是吗？
因为太在意别人的看法，想尽办法让自己改变，会活得很累。

因为有不完美，人才懂得包容与接受。
包容别人的错误，接受别人的缺点。。。
可是，不是每个人都能做的到，就因为他们是个完美主义者。
他们的世界是不容许不完美的存在。。。

其实完美与不完美本来就是很主观的。
太过与追求完美，只会让自己不快乐。
何苦呢？

From the mid-sem, i deduced that i'm super duper careless.

Sometimes i just wondered, that we're all too fortunate.
Yet we're not contented.

actually i think i dun like elearning.

mid-sem stress?!

Yup, 4 mid-sem papers in 3 days.
Mon was ST1131.
Tues was MA1102R.
Wed was IT1002 & EC1301.
mental drain? most probably.
was damn tired after tues & wed's papers.
seriously tired.
cant even stay awake even if i wanted to.

and and, yesterday when i was on my way home...
was in train, on the way to Dover i think, there's this uncle and ah ma sitting side by side.
Then, that uncle pick up a call, and obviously he needs to open his mouth to talk.
Then, the ah ma beside him started sayng he got bad breath and he didnt wash his mouth properly. haha, and ask him to cover up his mouth.
I think the uncle was quite pissed and embarrassed.
Then when the train was like approaching Clementi, the ah ma suddenly went to the door.
I guess everyone thought she wanted to alight but she didnt!!!
Guess what did she do? i think nobody expected it!
When the train door opened, she stopped people from coming in and spitted into the gap between the train and the platform!
I think everyone stunted! haha.
plus, when she stood up, there's actually newspaper laid on the seat!!!
haha. ok that's one interesting encounter ya? LOL.

oh oh and i had a dream last night.
after having IT1002 paper.
I dreamt that...
I was inside my tutorial class and prof was teaching us.
Then prof suddenly ask me if i can cope because he saw me keep flipping my notes during the mid-sem test(it's open book u see)...
then i said something like i'm not very clear about some things then he started teaching me and didnt care about other people already.
Haha, too stress ah, can dream about my prof... haha!

Feel like going shopping again.
More shoes, clothes, bags.
But now no work == no money.

yup, had dinner @ shokudo @ raffles city shopping centre. ate only half of the whole serving because of my braces.
freaking tiring to eat.
and i cant wait to take them off.
next appointment is nov 30.
supposed to be a 6 weeks review, but the dentist too 'hot'.
no slot until then.
anyway, after that went amk for pool.
haha, yup after tt was arcade, playing the basketball machine.
home sweet home after that.

oh! and seriously, i signed up for SOW Comm 2010.
and got in, so most probably planning for all the activities for next year's camp.
is it a right decision?

11 sept: fri. After sch, went Munchie Monkeys @ Yusof Ishak House there for dinner with Exodus peeps.
WeiYang.Kelvin.QX.YiNi.Lester.HiangTat.Vic.Inez.Jonathan. & Eileen who left when everyone came.
Because WeiYang leaving on this fri for his SEP.
Omg he's gg UK leh.
so nice and he can spend christmas there, which means a white xmas!!!
So chat abit, and i think the pasta i ordered was too 'garlic' already.
Didnt realise it when i was ordering lah!
After that was holland v, with Lola peeps.

Actually supposed to be a celebration for the sept babies, but in the end, EngShaw is the only sept baby who went.
Haha, so sat down at wala wala, chat & chill.
After we had our drinks + some snacks, KarYin and me went n.y.d.c to buy him a bday cake.
Goldmine: Cheesecake with chocolate top coat + oreo crust.

Cab home after that, yup, and Syl paid for it.

12 sept: sat. Went for Ben's 21st Bday chalet @ Pasir Ris Costa Sands.
Actual birthday is 17th sept, tml!
Met up with the rest to buy his present & card.
Haha, and when we're in topshop wanting to buy shirt for him, so we girls chose a few.
Then the guys say we old because we chose some old designs.

So we left them to choose, since they say us old, and went to buy bubble tea!
Haha, it was already like 8 plus when we reach.
And so ate, chat, cam-whored, and after we ate the cake, left for home.
Haha.

13 sept: sun.
FINALLY.
i got my iphone!
actually went down on 10 sept, and the person said it was out of stock storewide again!
was damn sad + disappointed man!
but anyway, now i've got it!
still trying to figure out... haha.

Mid-term coming after the sem break.
Time to speed up.
I mean my working/studying speed and not time.

school's been quite alright.
still not really in studying mode.
yup, will study, but because i have to.
no motivation.

well, quite la. haha.
Went together with Exodus peeps.
Lola peeps went as well. Saw them quite a few times throughout the ride.
Was supposed to reach ECP @ 830. Guess we're quite on time.
QiaoXuan, Huiting & Zoe was late.
So we set off late too.
Haha, first stop was kallang, where we played charades.
Then we're off to eat dou hua. =D
It's really nice!
Ta bao and went TheCathay there to eat coz the shop was damn full.
then set off to complete our mission for photohunt.
on the way, we cycled passed the bungee jump thingy, and Terence said he wanted to try!
Haha, i wanted to try also, but it's very ex leh. $30 per ride!
So QX, HT, HiangTat, ES & Ter went to take the swing.OMG, made me want to try also. But it's really ex lah!
i need to save =(
So we spent quite long there, and headed to Lau Pa Sa after that.
We're the last group to reach there i think, even though we are not the last grp to set off from ecp.
haha, and ate le have to go back ecp alr.
they cancelled the stations at marine barrage, geylang and one more place i forgot.
then on the way back, while i was cycling, something went into my right eye!
It's damn pain, like there's a needle poking around inside ur eye!
after searching, i found a brown little thingy (i presume it was some kind of insect) in my eye.
Stupid right, the insect.
It died, plus it made my eye uncomfortable & pain.
So, in the end, we're the 2nd last og to reach.
It's like 7 plus 8.
Went mac awhile before heading home!
Tired, and slept whole day after i bathe in the morning when i reached home.
haha.
i think i want to join again next year.
=D

Today no lesson, so going to meet Chen later.
Go buy bags + shoe + clothes.
haha, shopping spree~ maybe?

Bad mood.

My mood is seriously not good now.
All because of the balloting of tutorials & lab sessions.
And seriously i dont want to go to tutorials & lab alone.
Feel like scolding.
And my timetable sux.
And my free day is most probably gone.
Damn it.
Seriously, i'm beginning to dislike planning timetable already.
It's only sem 1 i know, but it's really troublesome.

And i'm praying super hard that no matter what, there should at least be someone i know in the same tutorial/lab as me.

SOW 09' Part II.

Here's more to the Science Orientation Week!!! =D

3rd August 2009: 5th day of SOW.
Had a day rest yesterday.
Had Freshmen Inauguration Ceremony 2009.

Now i realise how short i am! =PQuite boring actually.
After that headed to Raffles City Shopping Centre, Shokudo for dinner.

Me, Kelsie, Wendy & JJ shared a few dishes.

After dinner, bought 'breezer's.
Went to Mac but was chased because no alcohol allowed at Mac.

So ended @ the Memorial Hall for our HTHT session.

Haha. Went home after that, and realised i was having fever!
38.1 degrees ok!
Slept after i bathe.
Was really really really tired!

4th August 2009. 6th day of SOW.
Flag Day.Meeting time: 6:40am @ Raffles Place MRT.
Actual Time reached: 7:40am.
Was damn late. haha.
Tired is the word.
Changed into the shirt given & started flagging.
Walked all the way to city hall, mac because the seniors took our bags and were flagging there.
Ate brunch @ mac and started flagging again to about 3 plus.
Flagged from Mac near MRT to Funan IT Mall to Clarke Quay, and back.
My can is quite heavy ok!
haha. and slacked till 6 plus before my fever acts up again and headed home.

Slacked for 2 days after that. =D

6th August 2009. 7th day of SOW.

Reached sch around 8pm.
Actually activities start the next morning.
But not wanting to wake up damn early in the morning the next day, stayed over in sch.
Helped rag for about 2 hours, actually wanted to help more but the rest wanted to play cards..
So went back to LT32, where our bags were & played cards.

WeiKeong bought 'sabourteur' and 'bang'.
'Sabourteur' is like mining game, 2 grps of ppl, sabourteurs and miners.
But nobody knows what's ur character except yourself.
So, miners have to put cards that leads them to the gold.
'Bang' is like murderer, except that it's played using cards.
And there are power cards u can use.
Slept around 3am in the morning.
And still very tired the next day.

7th August 2009. 8th day of SOW.
Woke up @ 8am.
Morning was spent with speakers from our sponsors of the camp.
Lunch was in school, with our SP.
Me and Wendy was at the same table, and both our SPs didnt come.
Haha.
So Justin joined us and asked him why he was like missing for the whole of the camp.Anyway, after lunch was Amazing Race around Singapore.
1st stop: Fort Canning Park.2nd stop: boat Quay.
3rd stop: Science Centre.4th stop: West Coast Park.5th stop: HortPark.
6th stop: Vivocity.
And we on our way back to school.
Waited damn long for bus 97 @ vivo.
Reached school ard 8 plus. Ate dinner in sch canteen.
And went to change for our slumber party!Pyjamas everyone! =D
Lola won the 3rd best OG!
OMG! SO SURPRISED!
HAHA.Heng ga lau sai, heng ga lau sai! x2
Party till about 12 plus.
Dancing plus pillow fights plus tau-pok-ing people.

Because our theme evolves around disneyland, and we have to find out who snow white is throughout the camp by playing games...

SO...

Snow white is... ta-da! haha...

We're the last OG to leave so helped with the cleaning up.

8th August 2009: 9th(last) day of SOW.
Rag Day.
Woke up @ 645am.
Went down to SRC area, ready to watch rag performance. Sci Fac is the 1st Fac to go.

Quite a few hicups throughout the performance. In the end Sci Fac didnt win any awards. Halfway through the performances, went Sci Canteen to eat lunch. Then went back LT to rest.
Wanted to go back SRC there for the results, but was too late.
Haha, so headed home.
And that's the end of Science Orientation Week!

Yep, stayed home whole day today. haha!
